God Spoke to Me Through RCB

Recently, I was praying for someone who shared that they felt stuck—frustrated, anxious, and desperate for a breakthrough. As I interceded for them, the Lord spoke something surprising to my spirit:

“Tell them to have the joy of an RCB fan.”

Now, if you know cricket, you know that RCB fans are over the moon after their team finally lifted the trophy after 18 long years. That kind of joy comes when a long-awaited dream is fulfilled.

But here’s the truth the Lord highlighted:

Anyone can rejoice after a miracle. Faith is rejoicing before the miracle—knowing it’s on the way because God has promised it.

Later that day, during my Bible study, I was meditating on Isaiah 55:12–13. The Lord gave me this powerful word:

“Thorns will be turned into trees.”

What looks like pain and barrenness now will soon be flourishing with life and purpose. (I encourage you to read these scriptures to gain more clarity and go deeper by listening to the message I preached titled – DASHEN)

To be carnal is to wait for restoration and then rejoice.

To be spiritual is to rejoice before restoration comes—because peace and joy prepare the atmosphere for miracles.

Here are 3 simple keys to stay in joy and peace:

1. Value what the Word says more than what you see or feel.

2. Praise, sing, and dance before the Lord—rejoice intentionally.

3. Surround yourself with joyful people—laugh often and freely.

Stop waiting for things to change. Start cultivating joy and peace through these keys, and watch as restoration begins to take shape.

I pray this encouraged you. If it did, share it with someone who needs to hear this. Let’s spread the power of joy and peace!
